Fungal Futures for Collaborative Survival
My masters thesis is an exploration of interspecies futures that responds to the urgency of climate change through the proposal of paradigm shifts. Mushrooms become a central focus in this thesis through framing the species as product, process, and provocation. Mushrooms and their mycelial root networks are both metaphors for a collaborative interspecies future and a feasible solution to help remediate and heal the planet’s ecological damages.
Poetry of Decay
Poetry of Decay is a conceptual look-book of textile prints inspired by the dilapidated yet beautiful interiors of the Ballhaus Grünau - an abandoned dance hall in East Berlin, built in 1890. This work is an exploration of the relationship between space and memory, and the mortality and evolution of architecture.

Material Futures Co-creation
A co-creation workshop that explored possible applications for biomaterials for building ecological and sensorial futures. In this workshop, I used biomaterials as both the tools and lens with which participants collaborate to co-create possible futures using the power of radical imagination.
How might we create spaces that allow for the democratization of scientific knowledge-making and the active inclusion of a multiplicity of voices around biomaterials innovation? Who are we designing for? How might we include these stakeholders in the design process?
